With elegance and ease, he bridges jazz, classical, pop, bossa nova and samba styles, integrating his own spontaneous improvisations along the way. Gene has collaborated with an extraordinary range of jazz greats, among them Benny Goodman, Buddy, Rich, Wayne Shorter, Paul Desmond, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. Both as an exemplary solo performer and prolific studio musician highly in demand, he has earned the highest acclaim and respect from his fellow musicians for his artistry. General Information:

All concerts are in the Sanctuary Building of First United Methodist Church (across from Gulfport City Hall) on the corner of 15th Street and 24th Avenue. The building is fully handicapped accessible via elevator on the 15th St. side of the building at the alley. (Note: both private parking lots south of the Sanctuary Building adjacent to the Hatten Building are available for parking). Concerts are open seating: Tickets are sold at the door for each concert. Advance tickets may be purchased by mail or at www.arts.fumc-gulfport.org via PayPal. Tickets are also available from the church office (corner of 15th St. and 23rd Ave.) on Monday to Thursday from 8 to 4 and on Friday from 8 to noon.
